Shopping for the men in your life only gets difficult when you start over-thinking it. I dare say women are tougher to shop for because we can be incredibly particular in our likes and priorities.

This year, when searching for gift ideas for him, take into account what he spent his time on most – his hobbies and interests. When you have at least two ideas, try to think of unique twists or something he needs an upgrade on.

For the tech guy, he might really enjoy the magnetic charging station. It’s a sleek design, it charges your iPhone and AirPods, and helps declutter his nightstand. I see so many wins there.

One of my favorites on the list is the alma mater sweatshirt. It’s so meaningful and would be even more special if you’re college sweethearts. I’ve linked an ASU sweatshirt (Go Devils!) but bkstr.com should be a great starting point when searching for other schools.

Another good option is sports attire or memorabilia. Yes, it might be overdone but men who love sports will never ever ever get sick of something with their team on it. I love 47brand.com and typically go for their “vintage” styles but all their stuff is great – even the women’s section.

Of course when possible, I say try to plan an experience. Those are my favorite types of gifts, especially if this gift is for your partner. You can do tickets to see one of his teams play, a concert, a thoughtfully planned date night, even a weekend away together. Highly recommend if those are an option for you.
