Gift guides are everywhere which can only mean one thing.. the holiday season is here! ‘Tis the season, and I could not be more excited.
If you’re new around here, I have a three-year-old and a two-year-old and they’re at such a fun age to celebrate the magic of the holiday season. They’re singing the songs, asking about traditions, and grasping the concept of gifting.
This “gift ideas for toddlers” guide was created with them in mind and includes many of the toys they’ve enjoyed this past year with the focus more on ages two and up.
My youngest most loved item in this guide is the balance bike. She got it on her first birthday but it wasn’t until around one and a half that she really took to it. It’s a great bike for indoors or out (better on paved floor), the seat is padded, and there are no sharp parts. It’s been amazing in helping her coordination and of course, balance. For kids, three-and-a-half and up, I’d recommend the scooter.
Another toy on the guide that I can’t recommend enough is the ice-cream parlor. This was a gift from last Christmas and it is still one of their most loved toys. It really facilitates the cutest imaginative play and helps with taking turns.
If your toddlers love to jump and climb but you’re limited in space, I recommend this balance beam. It is a new “toy” in our home but the girls have loved it so much. Great for gross motor skill development and very easy to store when not in use.
Let me know which gift ideas for toddlers you’re loving the most and if there’s a toy recommendation we should know about.
Happy Holidays! See you in my next guide.
