Hi, I'm Ilse

This post will be short and sweet because my hack is quick and simple.

Today I want to share a little hack to shift your mindset that I’ve been doing to help me see the bigger picture during challenging times.

Whether it’s a tough time with the girls or life feels overwhelming, I’ve been adding “right now” at the end of my sentiments.

Example:

It’s a tough time with the girls right now.

Life feels overwhelming right now.

Those two little words have helped me refocus my energy and help the situation feel manageable. I love that it doesn’t negate my feelings, but it does reinforce that it’s just a moment or season of life and things will get better with time.

This also allows me to set a plan. I ask myself, “What can I do to help the situation?” and I take it from there.

Try it next time something is off. It just might help you get over the slump.
